대한민국이 유례없는 위기 앞에 서 있다. 단순히 여야의 정권 다툼이 아니다. 지금 우리가 마주한 현실은 자유민주주의의 존속이냐, 아니면 특정 개인을 정점으로 한 '전체주의적 일당 독재'로의 전락이냐를 결정짓는 절체절명의 기로다. 이번 6.3 지방선거는 그 갈림길에서 대한민국이 선택할 마지막 비상벨이 되어야 한다.

1. '이재명 황제'가 지배하는 비정상적 권력 구조

현재 민주당이 보여주는 행태는 공당의 수준을 넘어섰다. 입법부를 장악한 데 이어 언론과 사법부마저 발아래 두려는 시도는 가히 '현대판 황제'를 연상케 한다.

• 3권 분립의 붕괴: 국회는 이미 특정인을 보호하기 위한 '방탄 성채'가 되었고, 사법부의 판단조차 정치적 힘으로 무력화하려는 시도가 노골화되고 있다.

South Korea stands at an unprecedented crossroads. This is no longer a simple partisan struggle for power. We are facing a critical junction that will determine whether our liberal democracy survives or whether we descend into a "totalitarian one-party dictatorship" centered around a single individual. The June 3rd local elections must serve as the final alarm for the Republic of Korea.

1. The Abnormal Power Structure of "Emperor Lee Jae-myung"

The current behavior of the Democratic Party (DP) has transcended the boundaries of a legitimate political party. Their attempts to seize control of the media and the judiciary, following their dominance over the legislature, are reminiscent of a "modern-day emperor."

• The Collapse of the Separation of Powers: The National Assembly has already become a "bulletproof fortress" to protect one person, and there are blatant attempts to neutralize even judicial rulings through sheer political force.

To be honest, the performance of the People Power Party (PPP) has been profoundly disappointing. The inadequacies of the Yoon Suk-yeol administration’s governance and the "shambolic" incompetence within the party have caused even their staunchest supporters to feel a deep sense of disillusionment. It is only natural that people say the PPP is "no different" given the breakdown of trust.

However, now is not the time to let resentment dictate the future of the nation. You do not open your front door to a thief just because your own family is in a noisy argument. The current PPP is not an object of enthusiastic support, but rather the only shield we have to block the massive "evil" of the Democratic Party's unchecked run.

If the Democratic Party achieves a landslide victory in this election, South Korea will inevitably slide into the swamp of totalitarianism. The media will be muzzled, dissenting voices will be suppressed, and the law will only function in favor of those in power.

We face the sorrowful fate of democracy where, in the absence of a "best" choice, we must choose the "lesser evil."
